ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The temporary reduction in speed limits on motorways and national highways has been withdrawn, with authorities restoring the previous speed limits for all categories of vehicles.

According to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police, the speed limit for cars and light transport vehicles (LTVs) on motorways has been reinstated to 120 kilometers per hour.

The spokesperson further stated that the speed limit for public service vehicles (PSVs) and heavy transport vehicles (HTVs) on motorways has also been restored to 110 kilometers per hour.

Meanwhile, the Motorway Police confirmed that speed limits on national highways for cars, LTVs, PSVs, and HTVs have likewise been returned to their previous levels.

The spokesperson urged motorists to comply with traffic regulations and drive within the prescribed speed limits to ensure safe and secure travel for all road users.
